When the owner is locked out, a clever dog who deserves 10,000 treats steps in

Dogs are truly our best friend. They offer unconditional love that we can’t find elsewhere. But what is it about this animal that captivates our hearts? 

 

Is it their intelligence, loyalty or even their playfulness? Whatever it may be, one thing is for sure: dogs are an invaluable asset to any family. 

 

Having been locked out of her home, Kaylyn Marie expected to be stuck outside for several hours. But Sam, her loyal canine companion, was there for her.

 

The sliding glass door had to be unlocked by removing a wooden rod from its tracks.

 

‘It freakin’ slipped back in,’ Kaylyn wailed.

 

To unlock the door, Kaylyn convinced Sam to paw away the rod until it was removed and enough to be picked up by his mouth.

“You’re such a good boy,” she said. “You saved me!”

 

Sam then tried to play with the wooden rod, which is what you’d expect from a dog.

 

Kaylyn exclaimed “you’re going to get 10,000 treats,” as soon as she had the wooden rod in her hands. “10,000 treats for my dog.”
