Having a doggo as a pet is fantastic! They became your furry friend, and you became their entire universe. This may sound wonderful, but there is a disadvantage to owning a dog as a pet.
Every time you go out of your home, they experience separation anxiety. This is a problem that everybody who has ever had a pet dog can relate to.
Your dog will whine or bark before you leave as if they are opposing your decision to leave them behind. Leaving our dogs behind rips our hearts as dog owners, but we don‘t often have an option.
Couple Marc and Kristen Peralta discovered the ideal remedy to their pug’s separation anxiety.
Marc has formed the strongest attachment with Shorty of all the dogs who live under their roof at Vintage Pet Rescue, a canine refuge for senior dogs. They were inextricably connected. Mark would even take the pug with him whenever he had to leave the house for work or any other purpose.
However, as Shorty became older, traveling with Marc became a source of a strain on his health. Shorty’s fur dad then decided that the dog should just stay at home.
Now, every time his human departed without him, the dog’s heart ached. Kristen, Marc’s wife, tried to console Shorty by cuddling him, but it didn’t work. She also tried to fool Shorty by putting Marc’s shirt on a pillow, but he was too smart for that.
Kristen’s mother then had a brilliant idea. She got a mannequin from a Halloween store and dressed it up in Marc’s clothes. Farc, which stands for Fake Marc, was the name she gave it.
Kristen was taken aback by how beautifully it worked out. Shorty was placed next to Farc and was sound asleep within half an hour. Even while Marc is at home, the other senior dogs at their shelter snuggle up next to Farc.
