It’s not often you see a Bernese Mountain Dog momma so excited. But when this first-time momma had her newborn puppy handed to her, she couldn’t help but shower it with love.
Dogs are simply good at taking care of everyone, canines or not. They’re natural caregivers, and it’s something that sets them apart from other animals.
This dog-mama certainly has a giant heart to go with her massive frame. She was grabbing a few minutes of precious rest because when you’re a mom, that’s hard to come by.
When her hooman mom handed her puppy over, though, this dog-mama couldn’t help but give her baby sweet kisses.

That’s why mama dogs are extra-special – they’re not only moms, they’re dogs too! Dogs really are some of the best caregivers around. They don’t ask for much, but they’ll give you all they have.
The world is blessed to have these canine pets around, and we’re super grateful we have them in our lives. We need more dogs to make life beautiful.
