Dog’s Secret Deal With A Local Baker Discovered!

 

This is Chito, a small dog who, for some reason, has gotten bigger even though he eats a healthy diet every day.

 

He had a secret. But it’s no longer a secret. Sorry, pup!

 

The Cabreras live in Mexico. Their dachshund acts as guard dogs at home because they keep an eye on things during the day and alert their owners if there are people nearby.

 

To understand why this guard dog was so slightly overweight, you have to know why he was being so watchful in the first place.

 

A few years ago, the Cabreras found something interesting, and they took a video of it. A local baker comes by on a bike with many tasty goods. Chito stands at the gate as usual. It doesn’t take long for the baker to give Chito his secret meal. He takes it happily with a wagging tail.

 

It doesn’t look like a one-time thing.

 

People who own Chito say the baker usually stops by when they are home to sell sandwiches. But it’s unknown to them that their dog is involved in a secret deal with the baker.

 

“Truth is, it’s not surprising. Chito always cheats when it comes to food,” Cabrera told The Dodo. “He often leads my mom to believe that he hasn’t been fed yet so she’ll feed him double.”

 

 

Even though they know the truth, the Cabreras don’t want to stop Chito’s sweet relationship with the baker. Because the dog hasn’t put on too much weight from those secret snacks, he’s a little thicker than you might think.

 

It doesn’t matter what else you say about Chito. He’s great to have around.

 

“He is a very noble and protective dog,” Cabrera said. “But when it comes to food, he’s a sneak.”
