Canine Invasion of Other People’s Parties

Canine Invasion of Other People’s Parties

Canine Invasion of Other People's Parties

No invitation? No problem.

That appears to be the party-loving mantra of this adorable canine, who is incapable of resisting the chance to join in on other people’s fun.

Lucas Valéo is a photographer based in Brazil. He was just recruited to shoot an event in a distant region outside Sa Paulo. Valéo spotted an unidentified dog interacting with the people where they served food.

Valéo was hired to shoot a celebration at the exact location in another month. While he was pausing to shoot one of the tourists, Valéo recognized a familiar figure in the background.

It was the same party-crashing dog as before, except this time a bouncer had captured him for entering the dance floor.

Valéo later captioned the shot, “When you didn’t pay the entrance fee…” This dog, as Valéo realized, just never did.

“The owner of the venue told me the dog is almost always there,” Valéo told The Dodo.

Here is a photo shared by another partygoer who attended the same event. Indeed, the dog was also present during this period.

The dog’s image soon spread throughout the internet, leading many to believe he was stray seeking attention. Valéo determined to assist the dog in finding a home with this in mind.

Eventually, though, the truth surfaced: he simply enjoys mingling. He lives near the venue and enjoys breaking in, especially when food is involved.

Valéo noticed how well-known the dog was across the small village. Dingo is his given name, and he already has a home — which is where you’d expect him to be.

“I live next to the party venue,” Dingo’s owner told The Dodo. “Whenever someone is having a party, he will go. He makes a little escape and goes there.”

While attending parties without being invited is not the best habit for a dog to cultivate, having a safe haven in case he gets into trouble with the bouncers is reassuring.

Dingo’s future behavior may only be hoped to be more thoughtful of others.
