As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, many people are forced to work from home, leading to numerous amusing appearances by dogs or cats during weather forecasts.
However, an interruption of a man’s best friend in the middle of a forecast is nothing new. A WMUR Anchor’s dog strolls through a New Hampshire weather forecast as it is being broadcast live by WMUR Meteorologist Josh Judge.
This weekend’s weather forecast featured a pooch, despite the fact that the dog days of summer had not yet arrived.
New Hampshire’s early-morning weather forecaster had an unexpected guest stroll up behind him live on TV.
“So the ‘behind the scenes’ story is that I had no idea Amy had done a ‘take your dog to work day’.. so seeing her dog suddenly walk behind me this morning REALLY caught me off guard!” Judge posted to Facebook.
Amy Coveno, WMUR Weekend Anchor, owned the dog, Bella.
And this is why we don’t allow dogs in the studio…Thank you for rolling with it @joshjudgewmur https://t.co/CxmQbeIy9b

This special guest was a big hit with everyone watching.
“Weather has gone to the dogs,” commented Nancy Makowski on Facebook.
“More dogs in the news and weather would be a sweet idea!” one viewer tweeted.
Another viewer, Meredith Briggs, wrote: “It was so refreshing and I had a seriously needed good laugh seeing Bella and Josh’s reaction. It was priceless. Do it again sometime.”
