An unknown person left five puppies in a fenced-in property in a peaceful residential area of Ukraine. The puppies’ howls rang throughout the neighborhood, and an old shack was the lone structure on an otherwise empty property and that was where the puppies were.
A local resident contacted Love Furry Friends, a local animal welfare organization. The organization was well-known in the community for rescuing abandoned or neglected animals from the streets and caring for them. This organization has a YouTube channel where they encourage people to adopt the animals they have rescued.
The resident prayed that the group would show up and assist the unfortunate pups.
The rescue team arrived at the address given to them in the morning of the next day. Before winter arrived, they knew that they needed to get the dogs.
Only three dogs were visible within the enclosed property, according to the rescuers. Two members of the crew scaled the fence to gain access to the parking lot. The puppies bolted beneath the old shack when they saw the rescuers.
On a large plate, another team member prepared some food. He gave it to his teammates who were already inside the property and the puppies were offered the food. The animals were too terrified to come out though.
The rescuers took a step back and waited for the puppies to emerge. The puppies crawled out one by one and ate the food on the plate. The small puppies grew accustomed to the rescuers’ presence after about an hour.
The dogs wagged their tails and got friendly with the team after eating. The puppies then allowed the rescuers to carry them out and they were placed in dog carriers. The puppies were successfully saved before the end of the day.
The rescuers hoped that whoever took the other two puppies would look after them as well. They would strive to find new homes for the three animals they had rescued.
