They give up their safety to protect us. A few months ago, a police dog got hurt while doing its job. Happily, the dog was able to get better and get back to work.
Kaiser is the dog’s name. A call came in that someone had broken into someone’s home in London. He was doing his job when his handler received the call.
Kaiser tried to catch the criminal when they arrived at the scene, but he was stabbed five times by the criminal. And it’s even more amazing that even though he was in such bad shape, he kept the suspect in his grip.
After two months, the dog was able to go back to work.
Because Kaiser did something brave, he was given a toy as a thank-you gift.
