Willie was a Pitbull who had been chained his entire life. For the past seven years, he has been in this situation. He was never really given the opportunity to socialize, thus he grew up despising other canines.
That’s why a woman named Jill had to sign a contract when she volunteered to foster him. Willie would be kept six to ten feet away from other dogs, according to the agreement. That is until they determine that he is safe in the company of other dogs.
Jill was a little concerned about this, but she signed the contract nonetheless. She was anxious about Mint, their next-door neighbor’s dog. Jill was concerned that if the two met, they would fight and end up in serious trouble.
Mint was so used to going over to Jill’s place that he would occasionally climb over their fence. He’d even stand outside Jill’s door and wait for her.
One day, Willie and Mint crossed paths through the fence and it was something Jill did not expect.
Jill was frightened! She was so concerned that the two might clash. That’s why Jill was taken aback when the two began playing together. They’ve spent so much time together since then that Jill considers them to be best friends. Willie was finally deemed safe in the company of other dogs.
Jill was overjoyed by this. Willie learned how to interact with other dogs as a result of his friendship with Mint. Jill learned to take Willie everywhere as a result of his new attitude. He’s become more sociable.
Mint is to blame for that, but in a good way, of course. Willie had no reason to actually be violent because Mint was so pleasant. He discovered that he could be friends with other dogs.
Jill is happy with Willie’s transformation as he is now a completely new dog.
Willie got not only a fresh outlook on life but also a new best buddy. The two dogs continue to play together and enjoy living in homes next to one another.
