But regardless of where these canines originated, they deserve assistance. Therefore, airport security guards agreed to train and care for them. On the airport grounds, the dogs received water, food, and affection.
It would have been safer for the dogs to flee Afghanistan. However, they are currently in good hands, and they enjoy their new roles.
Hewad Azizi, an airport security guard, stated that the canines were discovered in U.S. Military-controlled and Afghanistan police-controlled regions. However, they were unable to confirm the pets’ owners.
Now, it is essential to care for the dogs and guarantee their safety. The majority of the dogs trained by Azizi and his associates excel in detecting bombs.
The poor canines would have perished from hunger, thirst, or heat if not for the benevolent security officers.
Rex, a Belgian Malinois, is his favorite dog, according to Azizi, since he excels at detecting shipments that smell like explosives. When he properly identifies the scent of a bomb, his trainers reward him with additional playtime.
A K9 supervisor, Mohamad Mourid, stated that they had various dogs, including narcotic or drug dogs and bomb dogs. He stated that they are training canines on detecting various materials.
The airport in question is now closed for maintenance; however, these dogs will begin working as the airport reopens in due time. They will assist the security personnel in exchange for care and affection from their rescuers and trainers.
These working canines are fed and given water by the security personnel. Now, these stray dogs will receive the respect they richly deserve. After all, they are good dogs and they can do exceptional things.
