Dogs have repeatedly shown that they are a man’s most trusted companion. Todd, a golden retriever in Arizona, is no exception.
Todd, who was out on a stroll with his owner Paula Godwin, became aware of the presence of a rattlesnake on the route, and he hurriedly positioned himself between Godwin and the snake in order to protect her, the dog’s owner recalled in a Facebook post.
She expressed her regret that the precious boy had to suffer a wound as a result of the process. “This is what a hero looks like,” Godwin said online.

According to KPHO-TV, Godwin hurriedly took Todd to a medical facility in Anthem, Arizona, so that he could receive treatment for the bite.
The good news is that despite some horrifying photographs showing what occurred to poor Todd’s face as a result of the bite, he was doing fine and is expected to make a full recovery, Godwin shared in an update on Facebook.
